1910.147 - Control of hazardous energy (lockout / tagout). This course focuses on the employer's roles and responsibilities in developing and implementing an energy control, or lockout / tagout (LOTO) program for the protection of workers while performing service and maintenance activities on machines and equipment. Students will learn how to detect hazardous conditions and implement control measures regarding hazardous energy control, written isolation procedures, training for authorized and affected employees, and periodic inspection of energy control procedures. Topics include understanding and applying definitions related to the OSHA Hazardous Energy Control Standard, types of hazardous energy, energy isolation options, and written program requirements. This is a one (1) day, eight hour class. The cost is $ 225 per person, we offer groups of six (6) or more discounts. Please contact for group costs.
